My turn to bite the tar.....

After 10 yrs incident free riding, my luck finally ran out..

Returning from a gentle ride in the wet, on my new 1600GT, I hit a patch of oil in a bend. Bike started fish tailing and I was eventually high sided.

Bike is damaged quite severely, I am in hospital with cracked ribs and a collar bone broken in 2 places. Going under the knife tomorrow..

Things happens very quickly and I am so fortunate as the result could have been far worse. Thx to my mates for getting me to hospital and for recovering my bike. I am eternally grateful...
