After a very long day in the saddle, we arrived  at Cederberg Oasis. Was great to see everyone again. After unpacking and getting out of our kit, we head to the restaurant for a few beers and wine, great food and the rest of the group then proceeded to put the fear of God into us for the sand riding that lay in wait……..

It rained on and off during the night and by the time we had to get up, I felt like I hadn’t slept at all. We each got 5l of fuel from Gerrit.

This is was the start of the real trip. Amsterdam put together an ambitious route with long distances that needed to be covered every day. That is what I came here for, fit in as much riding as we can into the daylight available to us.

We make it to Prins Albert by 3pm and do what any respectable Adv biker would do after an 11 hour drive...... we fill up our bikes with fuel  and go for a quick ride over Swartberg Pass. :ricky: :ricky:
