Would love to read a four page review of the new bike after the RR please Mother!! ;) :peepwall:
Damn is looks good in the dunes!! :thumleft: :drif:

Thanks for sharing once again a great rr.  Missed your reports.  :deal:

You are spot-on concerning the road conditions in Nam.  We also noticed the bad road conditions compared to previous trip.  It gets worse every year.  :eek7:

Thanks once again, a decent Nam trip is always a highlight.  :thumleft: :thumleft: :thumleft:

Another lekker ride from you ... Thanks!

"Also when i was last here they gave me a bit of grief about taking a motorcycle in but luckily i used my charm  :ricky: to get in ........also took some pictures with the then guards ..........."

I recall reading your '14 RR and this was the inspiration for Allen and I to do the Skeleton Coast a year later, and yes, the roads are nearly not worth it North of Helmering, such a pity but so be it.

Thanks for sharing.  Nice to read a RR from you - always worth it  :thumleft:

Keep them coming

Thanks Mother, that haul from Otji to Springbok is impressive in one Day. On a lighter Note, my first Trip from our Farm in Maltahohe to Swakopmund was in 1961 on the back of a Ford V8 Bakkie and the road was in worse Condition then.  ;)
The Traffic from Tourism has overwhelmed their Capacity I guess. I is unreal to see so many People at that Picture at the Tropic of Capricorn.

Enjoyable read, thank you
Was the bike damaged after your spill on the moss covered bridge?

Great report and pics, thanks  :thumleft:

That low water bridge below the Naute dam wall is always covered in algea!! :eek7:

Great report.
Graders are on the red data list as CITES - in danger of imminent extinction in Namibia is what I experienced when we toured there last year.
I did see one I have to admit!

After our easy day at Ai Ais the plan was to head north and camp on the Farm Aubures which i have done many times over the years

the route took us to Seeheim then Helmeringshausen and finally Auberes farm which is between Helmeringshausen and Betta

crossing a small river just before Seeheim i got caught out in the moss

the front end just went hows your father and before i knew i was on my arse

This cement slab claimed my MCL, ACL and meniscus exactly this time last year. Boot got stuck in the fall and upper body twisted. I have it on Go Pro, but haven't been able to watch it.

Nice trip Mother!

Lekker to read a RR from you again Mother..impressive km's covered in one day... :thumleft:
