Namibia and Back My 4600km ride

Lekker to read the RR and see the pictures, brings back a flood of wonderful memories.
Must say the bikes impressed behaveing amiably on those corrugations!
The wind was howling on the day we headed home and almost didn't make Windhoek via Khomas Hochland
because of it.
The roads were terrible at places, but Namibia still one of my favourite places to explore!

Thanks Mother. Lekker RR. Ye its a pity about the roads, we noticed the deterioration as well. Moer baie corrugation, but its a beautiful country to ride in and she somehow pulls you back.  ;D :ricky: :ricky:
 
Just read both your recent ride reports and enjoyed them immensely...

You are obviously well kitted with several pairs of undies...

A quick note, a colleague of mine who travelled during Feb. 2020 mentioned that they graded the roads to/from Sesriem/Sossusvlei and they are in far better condition now.  :ricky:

thanks good to know they addressing those roads they were the worst

I did notice though that you have been living too long on the wrong side of the boereworsbelt in CY cause you've spelt beautiful wrong in the beginning!!! :deal: ;) :lol8:

We did a short trip to Solitaire mid December from Walvis Bay and with Covid and nearly no tourist the road to Solitaire is now a breeze.

With all the recent rains though it could change rapidly.
