Namibian Border Entries - Data Dot and Police Clearance

I was told that all bikes have to be Data Dotted and have a police clearance to enter Namibia .......... (I know that new vechiles have to be data dotted)

This is the first time I hear about it ..................... Can anybody confirm if its true or just a rumour.
