Home safe and sound  Thanks to all who arranged the venue and to Orange Swifty  who got our asses into gear . Cool seeing so-many bikes / dogs in one place at one time

+1.
Was an awesome weekend. Nice meeting the faces behind the forum names and meeting up with old friends. Family joined me on this one and they thoroughly enjoyed it. My sons first bash. Maybe now he will sign up.
See you on the road

roxenz and makslang just got home safe and sound. Rode just perfect dirt roads through the Free State on our way home. Thanks to everyone who pitched in to make it happen! Legends, every one of you.

Special thanks to Leondude, Cavegirl, Louw and Albert who made the bash last until this morning - great company.

I came with the Tshirt. Contact Blinkes if you need one. He might have some more...

Hey Tommy , I missed you, went through to clarance but no luck, I thought I saw you riding outing of Fouriesberg on Sunday morning, I shouted but no luck...

Pics will be good....

Home on Sunday afternoon with Misty & Sunflower all good - lekka chilled bash, nice to see familiar dawgs and new ones

Must say that I also enjoyed the kuier immensely. :thumleft:

Someone mentioned over the weekend that the Wilddog clan may be a dying breed because the attendance was mainly by grys koppe.
Partly because the mere cost of actually getting on your bike, packed with camping gear and traveling 1000+ km's for a weekend party seems to get a bit out of hand. Todays fuel prices a R1/km will leave you with a 2 -3k fuel bill if you travel 1000+ k's to get there.

Lets make an effort to try and involve the younger generation and newbys in the bashes
We need them to take it forward and keep this amazing community alive.
Even if you can not attend any other bashes throughout the year, make sure that you can attend the national bash at any cost and start planning for it early :deal:
I missed some of the older dogs like Cocky, Snafu and Boer there. Circumstances preventing i'm sure.

The rest of the Cape contingent with Briv and Anda, Blinkes and Ball and Chain had a lekke trip from the WC up the eastern cape coast and through Lesotho which i'm sure was worth every km. Post some pics guys :thumleft:

Please tell us your story of the trip here and post some pics of the places you visited
I had an opportunity to get my ass up on a table in the bar and took some worthy pics..........
Enjoy..........

Good to see everyone - yes Hein - some others form the Cape were there too ;-)  :thumleft:

It was a hard ride up on mostly tar due to limited time available -

Day 1 Cape To Colesberg 730KM in near gale force wind from the left . Not recommended
Kuier with Nimmo
Day 2 Colesberg to Ladybrand
Kuier with WD mates
Day 3 Outride to Clarens and Golden Gate - 380km - Lekker
Kuier with WD mates till 00:30
Day 4 Ladybrand to Beaufort West - 640km
Crash by 20:30
Day 5 Beaufort West to Cape Town - Got home around 13:00
Chill and nurse a sore bum

Total 2500 km

We made it 2 x Breakfast runs there and back. :imaposer:
Left Saturday morning 06H00 to Ladybrand with a breakfast in Bethlehem
Sunday left 07H00 back to JHB with breakfast in Bethlehem.
Only 880 km for the weekend.
Lekker to see my old Cape and KZN friends again even if it was a short kuier. :ricky: :ricky:

They only opened the kitchen at 0800 on Saturday morning, only for use to be served with Riccoffee sachets. That was painfull :lol8:
