NC 700 Speedo

Anyone here had issues with the speedo on their NC 700. At 78K mine has issues. It works for about 3 Kms then the speedo goes to Zero and the trip meter stops working and the MIL light comes on. After another 3 Kms the trip meter starts working again. If I do the trick with the side stand I get one long and one short flash. If its the (VS) vehicle speed sensor that's R3600 from the stealers. Anyone else have experience with this?
