Need help understanding a problem on my KLE - Solved

Hi guys.. 

Please can someone give me some advice on unsderstanding a problem we having on my sons KLE. If we throttle up the engine just starts to die. . We foind plenty of fuel in the bottom of the airbox and drained that and dried all. When it stood for a day it seemed to start and run ok but now we back to this issue.

I am thinking a fuel issue.  Perhaps bad fuel. Water in the fuel or something like that.

Any suggestions on what to try would be appreciated.

Ok ,so to add more info here. We tried some fresh fuel and get the same result - . The bike starts and idles and can be caressed on the throttle to 4000 rpm but if you open up the throttle the engine seems to wanna die. Doesn't rev up further. Let the throttle go and it goes back yo idling.  This happened suddenly while riding off road and keeping the revs high going through mud and puddles.

Any ideas would be reaallly appreciated

We stuck while fishing in Lazy view at the moment. Lots of rain and water around
