Got my KLR 650 15 March 2011 Thank goodness with the latest fuelprice hike I was just in time. It is a real pleasure to ride but i am still getting use to the engine revs. I always drive my car @ about 4000 revs but the bike they say rides better @ 5000 revs and with the exhaust so close to the ear and being a high performance exhaust takes getting use to. But the fuel consumption @ roughly 26 km/l and not standing in the traffic is a huge bonus. Thank you to all the other KLR riders who always greet when they pass you. My 10 year old son has a 125 crusty racing pitbike and we plan on doing some ride outs over weekends. My wife now also has her hart set on a KLR 650. We love the outdoors, camping, and traveling. Hobbies are fishing and archery
