Hi everyone, my name is Schalk vd Merwe and I am new to your forum. I am from JHB, and ride a XT 660 R Yamaha as well as a 1000 Genesis. I bought the adventure bike 3 years ago to try and slow down but have fallen off more than 30 times since. I have been riding road bikes since 1965 but had a complete new learning curve since riding the adventure bike. I have done a 13,350 KM trip to the equator in Kenya and back through 7 countries and will report about it on this forum after the 23/01/2012 when I am back from a camping trip in New Zealand.
