Guys,
Dunno where else to post this, but though the Cape Dogs should hear about this new pad. It's in Kloof Street, called "Saints Rock and Roll Bar and Pub", it's a old double story house the dude's made into a VERY cool Rock Bar and Restaurant, with some WICKED Hamburgers and Beers on the Menu.

Owner's name is Roman, he's from Bulgaria I think he said, been here since the 90's, and is a really nice guy, and very genuine. He makes all his own Buns, Ciabatta's etc, and Grinds his own Mince out of A Grade Meats. All made himself. He's an old-school Restaurant Owner, has a good History with some franchises locally, but this is his new Baby, and it's really cool. He's promoting the Biker Scene, Rock and Roll, (Has a Juke Box inside which you can make up your own Songlist), has some really cool beers on tap, and a "Mothership" challenge, a 1 Kg Hanburger, with 2 Side orders, and a Large Mug of Beer, which if you consume in half an hour and keep it down, you don't pay for it.. Normal price, R 200-00.. :deal: I had a 200 Gram Burger and was amazed how good it was.. REAL good food, not this plastic shit..
He's getting local Authorities to convert two bays outside the place for Biker Parking, all in all, he's just a really nice dude, with a cool idea, and a nice, clean, comfortable spot to go out and have a few. Also cater's for private functions upstairs, while passing public etc still gets in downstairs. Pop round, say howzit, and have a Chow, guaranteed you won't be sorry.. And I reckon the place pumps at night.. :thumleft:
Cheers
Alan
(PS: Mods, not sure where to post, as it's not a Ride Report, but a food\Restaurant Report)
