Hi All,

Been looking at getting some new riding kit, and given I'm on an 800XC i figured I'd give the Triumph stuff a look

Specifically the new Triumph Endeavor jacket: https://www.triumphmotorcycles.co.za/clothing/riding/textile-jackets/2014-endeavour-jacket?returnUrl=/clothing/textile-jackets

and their Motegi or Talon pants.

Look really decent, waterproof liner, quilted inner that can be removed, neck/buff collar thingy and looks really well made.

Does anyone have any experience with Triumph gear though? Its coming in at more than things like the RST Adventure gear (5115 jacket 2580 pants - excl 10% discount). Plus, try and find RST adventure in a M and 34...

Then onto the age old boot debate.

Triumph have gone mad - their Adventure boots were a reasonable and competitve 2500 buck, suddenly jumped to 3600! For the SAME boot (as in stock and model) and again only offering 10% off.

So looked at some other options and came acrross the TCX Track. Worst name given its a trail boot...https://www.tcxboots.com/eng/prodotti-dettaglio.php?prodotto=88

These are 3grand starting, so call it 2700. Puts its about 900 cheaper than the TCX Infinity (aka BMW Santiago).

Anyone using the above and can give a guy some advice - MUCH Appreciated.

I'll be doing prob 80/20 road/dirt so I know there's a preference out here for MX boots, but I'm more keen for an all day rider with a bit of light dirt thrown in, than a MX boot (as sexy as the sidi crossfires are)

Cheers!
