If you had a blank sheet of paper and wanted to design a new tyre what would your specs be? There are a few things to keep in mind!
Current tyres on the market! Mitas already has a 50/50 tyre and are looking at improvements on it going forward.
There are quite a few good tyres in the offroad segment..TKC80,E-10,Karoo 3 and Annakee wild.
other thing to consider is that the current breed of dual sport bikes are getting more powerful and faster and you simply cannot get an agressive tread pattern to do over 200 km/h.
Personally I think you need the most agressive tread pattern possible in a 240 km/h tyre say 60/40 tar bias?
