Race Dog
Tarnished, defective, scarred, blemished.
What was once a spotless GS is no more
Leaving for work this morning, I freewheel, the 1200GS to the bottom of the driveway, pop the side stand out and walk back to close the gates. Behind me, I hear the 1200 seems to be idling a bit rough, turn round just in time to see it tumbling over
Run and pick it up, too my relief the damage was minor. Thank goodness for those flat cylinders that stick out so far, plus the R2500 crash bars I fitted.
Still this really pisses me off. The road looked flat , but obviously the bike disagreed. Four months old and I have managed to drop it already . The R1 managed 4 years without a single tumble. Okay, so there was the one time, while offloading it from the back of the bakkie in a semi inebriated state that I managed to scratch the belly pan...
So here is the state of affairs
At least I know the GS is toppleoverworthy
The grumbling continues ....
