Hi guys
I did an oil and filter change last night. I do this every 5000 km and this is the fourth or fifth one I've done on this bike.
What was strange to me is that this time the bike took more oil than usual. According to manual part one is approx 2.5 liters, then run the bike till 6 bars temp, then add another approx 0.5 liters. So the capacity is 3 liters. This was true before but last night the bike took 3.6 liters.
I am just curious why this could happen? Any ideas?
The bike is a 2010 990 ADV R

P.S. for interest sake, total cost was R1300 incl. 4l of 10W60 Motorex oil
