Hi guys/gals,
Watched an interesting video of an ADV rider, doing an oil change on his bike, after a hard ride to get the engine nice and hot.
It’s all to do with sediment in the engine of fine particles being assimilated into the old oil when the engine is hot, and subsequently being flushed out when drained; as opposed to flushing the oil when cold, and the sediment remains inside and then mixes with the new oil.
How many of you do this; do an oil change after a ride so as to flush the sediment out? Or do you do a cold flush?
