Is it just me or are bikes just becoming way too sophisticated, with a gazillion ride modes and features that replaces the need to ever become a really good rider that knows how to properly use a bike's throttle, brakes and suspension?
Next up will be electric self-drive adventure bikes with airbags all around, suspension that makes the roughest trail feel like you're gliding along in a Rolls Royce, helmet visors that allow you browse facebook while you sit there and riding kit that keeps the temperature to a perfectly regulated 22 deg C
No man
Give me something that feels, sounds and rides like a proper bike, that makes me feel even more alive, and forces me to be totally involved in the experience - something exactly like my XChallenge thumper or 950
But then, my dream car is a Ford F250 double cab, 80's or 07, a '69 Mustang or a Unimog like my mate's one.
I suppose it all depends what you want to do with a bike
