ADVenture MOTOrcycling are planning a one nite stand to Chris's "farm? near Kestel /golden gate area on the 12th May 2007 it has the following facilities.
Braai area, backpackers sleeps 10 .farm house sleeps 6, further more there is an outside toilet and shower ablution and plenty of green grass for camping with outside street lamp and power point.
The plan is to meet at the Ultra City at Villiers direction Durban on the morning of the 12th may and then take the more scenic mountainous eastern free state route via Cornelia / Vrede/Memel / Harrismith to Kestel. Chris Knows this area quite well, and assure us the best kept riding secret is the eastern freestate off the beaten track roads.
On Sunday we will do gravel from kestel to golden gate then have breakfast at one of the restaurants in Clarens then back home by what ever route you choose
Chris will arrange Braai packs for Saturday evening SO?? please confirm if you are coming.
Otherwise bring your own meat with
There will also be a pay bar, basically at cost, so you dont have to carry all your liqour with you. Also welcome to bring your own drinks.
There will be a cover charge of R50.00 per person and we can call this the ?farm improvement fund? as he spent quite a bit on improvements all round and on the back packers.
We invite all dual purpose bikers who wish to come from a route of their own choice or any where in the country(maybe we see a few durbanites) .directions and GPS co ordinates will be provided closer to the date.
