On the advice of my mate Maverick, I decided to invest in a 49 liter Ortlieb Rack Pack. This is specified to be a complete dry-bag which of course then renders it dust free as well.
I used it for the first time this past weekend and was mightily impressed!
It is very easy to pack and close up. The top closes just like the proper dry-bags that we used on the river, and then once rolled closed, uses two straps on each side and two straps across to close down.
It is also a breeze then to fit on the back of the scoot. I used two normal tie down-straps, but with rock straps it literally took a couple of secs to attach the bag to the bike.
In fact, I am going to get myself one more!
