For the people that have bought replacement Lead Acid batteries for their kids OSET bikes, try this next time.

I had a Ryobi 18V 4000mAh battery lying around, so I ordered another one, 3D printed 2 clips that hold spade connectors in place, and then plug into the existing harness in series to get the 36V.
The batteries last for an hour, and you just pop them out and put them into the charging dock when done

The standard replacement batteries from OSET cost R1950 for set (3 x 12V 9Ah SLA), and after replacing it twice, I was tired of it not lasting long enough and the OSET does not have protection circuitry to prevent the lead acid from draining past the point of no return.

You can also get the Ryobi in 8000mAh for around R2k, but I don't think that is necessary, at least not for the 16" OSET.

Hope this helps someone.
