Warning : Bought myself a pair of Padana pants at CIT in Hatfield in Pretoria last week Friday. That evening, proudly displaying my new purchase to my wife, I zipped the one pantsleg zip down and the whole zip broke in two pieces! I haven't even started riding! Lots of muttering and associated verbal usage... Spoiled my weekend riding to say the least.
Anyway, Monday morning took it back to CIT who offered to repair the zip. No thank you, I asked for - and got - my money back without any further ado.
10/10 for CIT client relations but 0/10 for stocking crapy products like Padana. The jackets actually look very good by the way but after my experience I will rather stick to more well known brands. (I know some of the guys on the Crater ride two or three weeks ago wore the jacket and was happy with it).
