We are planning our yearly weekend trip for October, this year it will be Tankwa / Northern Cape.
Here is our thinking:
Thursday: Meet outside Laignsburg
Friday: Laignsburg - (lunch Gannaga Lodge) - Calvinia
Saturday: Calvinia - (lunch Boerewors braai somewhere) - Fraserburg
Sunday: Fraserburg - home
Distance breakdown:
Home for us will be Cape Town, Durbanville, Somerset West, Britstown, and some guys from the Overberg.
Like in the past, bikes- the best description, liquorice all sorts: F800GS, CRF1000L, Tiger 800Xca, BMW 650, R1150 GS, T7 & 990 Adventure S.
Some of us prefer overlanding style camping, others white linen.
