Here's my version of cheap folding mirrors.
Easy to make as well:
1) Stack 4 M6x32x2 and 2 M6x32x5 together like so and secure with a bolt. The OD is not too important anything over 28mm will work.
2) Cut/Grind/File the whole stack like this:
These form the swivel joints like this:
Use a M6 bolt to fasten all the elements of each joint together.
3) Take a set of the cheapest mirrors you can find, these were R100 each or so from Startline, cut them as shown below.
4) Weld the joints where the mirrors were cut.
5) Dissemble and paint.
6) Reassemble with a M6 bolt, washers and a nylock nut.
I will be incorporating stops into an improved design in the future but have not got round to this yet. The stops will need to be cut into the washers when they are shaped.
