Good day guys
A mate of mine wants to have his rims on his old VLX 600 cruiser made black and i was wondering if powder coating them would be the right answer. If the rim was separate from the hub, would the rim warp at all from the baking process during powder coating? The finish that my local guy does is great and i like that powder is durable compared to spray painting.
Secondly, the spokes are a bit crusty so would need to be replaced with stainless steel or get the existing ones nickel plated. Is the nickel a good idea?
