Having to contend with PE's wind is sometimes quite a mission and as I use my bike daily to commute I at times find my helmet being buffeted quite badly. I have for a long time considered doing something about the screen (pooratech) so started last night. I noticed that much of the buffeting comes from the sides of the screen so wanted to do something to deflect the wind outward. I am going to attach a series of red ribbons onto the edge of the screen and then take some pics to see what the airflow is actually doing at speed.
This is just a prototype and will add more pics as it progresses. The aim is to eventually make a complete pooratech screen that works. It does not look that great but has already made a huge difference.
