Proper handguards for a 650 GS

I always suspected that the BMW hand protectors on the 650 GS is kark, after SG's spill the weekend there is no more doubt.

The clutch lever broke off which resulted in a stranded bike. Even with the other cosmetic damage it would still have been ridable if only the clutch lever had better protection

I am thinking of replacing it with something more substantial like, Acerbis etc.

Has anybody done this, which makes will fit ???
