Hi guys.
Having read some horror stories, I'd like to understand from those in the know, how to
best handle this situation fairly and securely for all.
Bike is in Cape Town, I am in Gauteng.
Bike is financed by BMW finance.
Do I pay the settlement to BMW, and the balance to the seller, and have the papers sent to me, if so, what papers does the owner need to fill in/sign and send to me.
Do I pay everything to the seller, wait for him to get the papers from BMW and send them to me with change of ownerships ?
When doing change of ownership in different provinces, what paperwork is required.
