I recently bought a 2008 300 XCW for quite a reasonable price from a forum member. On the onset I knew that a 13 year old enduro bike is going to need some love, but I figured buying it for a good price and then getting it to where I like it is hopefully a cost effective way of having a lekker enduro bike.
One thing to note is that I'm not very mechanically minded and quite ham-fisted and impatient. So this is not a showroom build, but rather just a freshening up. One effect the lockdown did have is that I had a lot more time and patience when working on the bike since I had nothing better to do. It was actually quite therapeutic and a nice distraction
This is what it looked like when I got it. Mooi van vêr, maar vêr van mooi :lol8: It did go like the clappers though!
