Crossed-up
Pangaman
There was some discussion about a year ago about the Puzey Explorer and it was rather unfavourably received. The styling (?) hasn't really changed and it was on this that most bad reviews seem to have been based.
The RS400 was dismissed as cheap plastic noodles, but I want to know if anyone has looked at it recently.
The specs (from Puzey) are:
â?¢ Price R37 990-00
â?¢ Dry weight: 132kg
â?¢ Gross weight: 182
â?¢ Fuel tank capacity: 9.0L
â?¢ Seat height: 880mm
â?¢ Brake mode (front/rear): disc brake/disc brake
â?¢ Engine type: single-cylinder, four-stroke, four valve
â?¢ Maximum power, running radius: 22 / 7,500kW/rpm
That's really cheap for a 400, when the Japanese are asking R60K plus. The tank capacity is laughable, I know, but otherwise it looks like a pretty capable bike.
Does anyone actually have one or know someone who does? I'd like to know about what they are like in the real world. Durability, economy and quality?
Some of the 250 models also look like fun. Can anyone speak from experience rather than supposition?
