Our trip was incident free until a few kms before camp where Bouwer noticed he had a flar rear, we pumped quickly and headed into the camp site where many hands made light work :lol8:thanks to all that helped :thumleft:

Smitskraal was a bit of a let down on the way out after all the phsycing up :laughing4: The biggest ledge I could find was about a brick or so high :lol8:

Unfortunately I have missed the last 4 EC bashes as I cycled 3 x Sani2seas and last year my son rode the Roof qualifier so was really good to be back and fantastic to see old faces again esp the Wcape boys :thumleft:

Yes not easy on a big bike. Momentum is (must be) your friend though.  >

Also where the sign says Pad Gesluit do not take it as a challenge - that route is the old 'valley' option and the road is seriously washed away.

Any chance of moving this forward by one month ? Every time I go on a trip / bash in winter I come back with a cold  April should not be too hot or cold in the kloof.

Would have been great to have it in April, but always been too busy month and too close to WC bash. This date is fixed for the last 10 years  :biggrin:
