for what its worth I've done around 12000kms on my rear K60, BMW dakar, often loaded with 40-60kg tent luggage etc, and like yesterday coming back from Cape Aghulas to Cape Town in 90 minutes, two up. Tyre looks fine, except for some tearing off of knobbles when I failed to pump tyres after a dirt / 4x4 ride, and did 160km/h getting back to Somerset in time for kerk.

Last weekend did Franschoek Pass (I'm sure it has a name, can't remember it) with two up.
(ye ye, I know about the 160 vs kerk bit.. :)

Used to have Anakees and got 23000km out of one rear, but that was travelling long roads across the North Cape, North West Pronce and Limpopo.. and only replaced when bald..

I ride the same on tar whether Anakee or K60, except in rain.

The Tears - but be aware that these tyres are 12000km old... and no, my bike is never clean!

I've subsequently ridden another 1500kms on these tyres, at 2.7bar.
