Hi

On Sunday I was on dirt and came over a rise and there was section that was rock before me. It had a big furrow,  probably 20 – 30 cm deep  and about 3 meters long and about 20 – 30 cm wide. Recalling from memory so can’t be 100% sure.

I hit that furrow at about 80kms/ph and ramped a little. The bike came down very hard – and a little skew I think. It happened quickly but I never felt I was in danger of crashing. But for sure the suspension bottomed out.

And I the small plastic rear mud guard ( the little plastic one bolted directly onto the swing arm)  broke right off. There were no gashes, scratch marks on it or any on the swing arm either.  No scrape marks gashes anywhere else on the bike. So how did the mud guard break off and have you guys experienced this before?
