Just had my bike's done by Superfoxi. The shock was fine, so just had the rear spring replaced with a heavier linear one (good second hand). R900.00. Mike knows the specs, rated for two up loaded with luggage, because that's what the bike is used for.
Rode it today. Feels real good. Bike used to sag, cruiser style, now sits up nice and high. Although the spring is much stiffer, it does not ride "hard" over bumps etc, but nice positive feedback from the road. Still have to fine tune the suspension settings. Bear in mind that, when I gave Mike the requirements, I like a hard suspension on a bike.
