Old School Biker
Pack Dog
Hey guys
I was on my way home from Worcester, I took the scenic route and as I came through the last bit of dirt and went onto the black stuff I wanted to go down to fourth. I let go off the clutch and instantaneously the rear wheel locked up completely. I slid for 15 meters or so with a nice skid mark in the road and one in the pants ;D. Luckily I stayed on the bike. The lockup also pulled the motor dead. I started the engine again and I got the bike in neutral but the moment I let the clutch out its chokes the engine. So I am sure its something in the gearbox. At least the motor runs free. I want to know if there is anyone who had such a problem in the past and who in the Cape Town area would you recommend for the repair. I am able to do a service and change a chain and sprocket but that as far as I am willing to venture. Any advice would be appreciated.
