I am way past the day where I try to sell a ride to wilddogs with nice sunset pics and images of gourmet food served on the ride.
If you want to do some serious riding, camp in the bush with your tent, have probably too much alcohol :snorting: before crashing and getting up early the next day to do it all again.....this is for you................ :thumleft:
If you want to be pampered and spoilt with 5 star luxury......book a trip on an ocean liner.
There are 4 Spots left on the 4 Day Annual Warthog rough it ride for a group of capable, adventure riders with travel worthy adventure bikes.
Saturday 18th to Tuesday 21st March. (Tuesday is a public holiday) Own fuel and at own risk. 90% dirt roads planned. Approx 1450 km's for the weekend.
First 2 evenings - self sufficient camping in the bush. All camping equipment and kit to be carried on your bike. 3rd Evening in Lodge bushcamp.
No backup vehicle. Own tools and puncture repair capability essential.
Day 1: Pta - Middelburg - Depart Sat 18 March 08h00 from Engen Lynnwood via Loskop dam to Tonteldoos and to Middelburg Farm - Approx 400km - camping in a spectacular valley under the stars on a farm close to Middelburg Mpumalanga.......No costs except own meat and drinks.
Day 2: Middelburg - Marken via Potgietersrust. Approx 400km - Depart Sunday 19 March 08h00 - camp under huge Marula tree on Farm 10k's out of Marken, Limpopo.
PH on farm - may take interrested parties hunting if so desired....... saturday late afternoon or sunday morning early.
Bush shower to be supplied if needed.
Food and drinks for evening to be transported from Pta to Marken. To be dropped off prior to weekend commencing.
No costs except Food and drinks.
Day 3: Marken - Zinyala. Approx 400 km. Depart Monday - spectacular dirtroads via Poer se loop, Rankins, Kranskop etc....Stay in Bushcamp at Zinyala, Includes a braai for the evening and coffee and rusks the next morning. Approx estimated cost R350 p/p t. b. c. Food and Drinks for the evening to be transported from Pta purchased by prior arrangement and payment.
Day 4 Zinyala - Pta Approx 250 km. Depart at own leasure to Pta
All route planning will be done and distributed
