Hi Guys,
What are the risks of removing the DNA Stage 1 air restricting insert (Round rubber under seat) from a stock XT660z.
Removing this insert essentially makes it a DNA stage 2 which brings more air into the motor.
I saw a note on the DNA website (or somewhere) where it mentioned you could cause damage to the bike when running a stage 2 air filter on these bikes when not combining it with a power commander to adjust fuel supply.
Is this just a overly cautious note in the term & conditions or could it actually do damage?
I'm from JHB so increased air supply up here might be helpful vs too much air if you were at the coast...
