Revisiting the brown snake

Dust Rat suggested that we revisit the route and I was quick to agree. It was very short notice. We hoped to be at least 5 guys but ended up being 2. The only problem in this is the fact that you have to open a lot of gates.

Dust rat visits some family in Ladybrand which leaves me with the drive there and back to Bloem a total of just over 500km for the day.

Two farmers(brothers) were recently shot at on the border. The one hit fatally and the other one flown to Bloem medi-clinic. This made my wife a little more than anxious.

One of the photo's shows some dead cattle we saw. The reason for this scene is not clear but one wonders.......

Last ones.

Dust Rat forgot his gloves at home. I think this was his punishment for the extra kilos I had to drive. Amazing how uncomfortable such a small mistake can make a ride.

I think this must become an annual event.

Much more exciting to transport the commissaire on the back of a 1200 STEN chasing the leaders of the OFM Classic MTB race at 40km/hr.....  8)
