Day 1:  Klein-Pella to Vioolsdrif
We took the Namakwa 4x4 route from K-Pella to Steinkoff where we refueled.
From Steinkoff we took an awesome 2 spoor all the way to Vioolsdrif.
I will let the photo's tell the story.

Did you do Road to Hell?
Hi Xpat,  no we did not do road to hell.
Btw,  there are short sections in that Eksteenfontein to Kuboes route that are very similar in terrein to the "Road to Hell" road.

Day 2: Vioolsdrif to Seeheim
We went thru the border just after 7am , refueled and had a hearty breakfast at Wimpy in Noordoewer.
We took  the Canchab 4x4 route thru the Aushenker reserve on our way to the Canyon Lodge where we had "a cup of tea" for refreshments. From there to the Visriver gorgre lookout and Canon roadlodge for lunch.
We took the high speed gravel highway to Seeheim where we stayed the night..

Xpat,  yes it is the same section.
We did it south to north in 2015 and then it was already very technical, we did it north to south this time and it has deteriorated very very badly. The section in your picture is not the most difficult section. There is an extremely bad washed out section about 500meters north of your photo which is very very steep. It is probably doable on a 500 (with help) but almost impossible on a big bike. I do not recommend this track to anybody, it is pure hell on a big bike.

Can you please send me a GPX of that section so I know exactly where it is please

Whats the light blue section fro Eksteenfontein to Vioolsdrift like?
Awesome 2 spoor, small pebbles, becoming progressively sandy to extremely sandy closer to Viools.

Day 3: Seeheim to Sendelingsdrift
From Seeheim to Rosh Pinah is a highspeed gravel highway, not very interesting but hey I am not complaining.
The plan was to cross the river using the pond at Sendelingsdrift but the river level was too high and we had to ride via Oranjemund, crossing the river using the long single lane bridge and then back to Sendelingsdrif.
First picture: filling up at Seeheim
