I thought (perhaps better to say "laboured under the impression" ;D) that I was a pretty good rider, but I was brought back to earth with a bang today ;D
And you out there, reading this with a smirk on your face - chances are you will realise the same if you give your ego the day off and attend any of the many excellent riding courses being presented on this forum and elsewhere.
I spent today at Gerotek as a guest of the Honda Training Academy in the company of an excellent instructor which goes by the name of Hoofseun on this forum.
Tonight my arms ache, my legs are sore and my hands feel strangely weak, and even though I fell again for the first time in many years (in the biggests frikken sandpit you can imagine) I have learned a hell of a lot ;D
I will from now on actively seek to build my skills by going on more courses and I would like to encourage anyone involved in DS riding to do the same.
Infact I think they should make it a legal requirement when a person purchases any DS or off-road bike :deal:
