Riding orange in KZN.

It was time again for our monthly dual ride, this time heading inland from Empangeni. Winston planned the route and I tried to get a couple of guys and girls involved.  We set off at 07h00 from empangeni and did a 200km loop past Shakaland, goedertrou dam Melmoth, heatonville home.

The group were made up of 2 ktm's, 2 BMW GS 650 dakars, 1 KLR, 1KLE and 2 v stroms. There was suppose to be a couple of bigger bm's as well but they decided to go for a breakfast run on tar ???

to ride orange is much easier said than done...ask mark...... :ricky:

;D ;D the fun was in making the juice but the clean up afterwards. There was bit of orange pulp in the wiedest  places  ;D

This little church in the middle of rural zululand, ok 20km outside of Empangeni  . It was quite a site. Now one around and the place is open. Not even in use ?. What a shame. This place was beautifull.

Then it was on to geodetrou dam again via that fantastic route through and up and over the valleys

the next thing I see is chicco ducking of the road and down the hill along some foot paths  :thumleft: ok this looks like fun. I hand the camera over and follow him down  :biggrin:

and so we get to the orange bit. I can not ride orange  :biggrin:

I tried but had to throw the bike down, no pic this time.

Now you know how they make KTM's orange. Mark's bike smelled like a orange farm afterwards and incase you wondered, Heidennaus got no traction on oranges.
