Yesterday I received the very sad news that my friend and fellow Africa Twin Club member passed away after a serious motorcycle accident on Saturday.
I am not sure of the details, but it seems he lost control of his bike and sustained many injuries including broken pelvis, ribs, shoulder and back fracture.
Apparently he was stable but in a lot of pain. Unfortunately he subsequently had a heart attack while in the High Care Unit at Joburg General.
RIP Eugene, it was a pleasure to know you. :'(
