Maybe it's because I'm riding slower? Maybe it's because I'm not riding super far these days? Maybe the bugs are learning to stay away from roads?
I remember having to stop on the side of the road and clean the insects off my visor or glasses sometimes because it was so bad, I couldn't make it to the next fuel stop. I used to ride with the bit of Carlton roll in my pockets that I'd wet with my camelback for just such occasions.
The grill on my bike was always full insects, the birds would have a feast at longer stops
These days not so more?
Are we losing our bugs?
