Rooiberg solo....

Three weeks ago before I left for Germany I went for a little weekend ride. Got the Friday off and decided to ride to Oudtshoorn for my usual free accommodation at night. The 350km night ride was quite interesting. I found that if I put my zumo on 180m resolution the turns are not a surprise and I can ride much better. Anyway it was adventure. Being a night ride I took no pictures.

The next morning I left for Calitzdorp via the Matjiesrivier road.

Soon turned to gravel.

All the houses are painted the same. I suppose they are part of the Swartberg Nature Reserve.

From here I rode to Ladysmith via Huisrivier pass and the guys that love tar turns and speed will know why i did not stop  :ricky:

The last pic was taken at the spot where my dash pointed out to me that my head light is dead. Good thing it didn't go dead the previous night.

Flu caught me on my way back to PE. Was not nice riding ill.

Oom ek begin al klaar my mind change.... ek kannie die bike verkoop nie.... hy moet maar staan op die charger tot ek kan ry.... ek sal maar kyk of ek goeie offers kry.

nothing wrong with changing your mind.  it's a great bike with all the goodies. when a lekker ride is had, keeping the bike is all worthwhile!

nothing wrong with changing your mind.  it's a great bike with all the goodies. when a lekker ride is had, keeping the bike is all worthwhile!
