Sometimes you just want to have a little fun close to home.
The terrain might be technical and you could get hurt
but wearing a hot touring jacket can be a bit of a schlep and summer jacket equivalents often have inferior protection.
What type of armour is best for our type of riding plus a little more of the tough stuff?
A Roost aka Chest protector over a T-shirt?
- I'm told these actually protect you from stones flung up from the bike in front of you and not really from a fall
or a ballistic jacket?
- these are tight fitting yet comfortable and the armour looks like its up for the job. Some are also vented
or sticking to your regular touring jacket?
- hot...but at least you know it works
