Okay... So I want to actually use my ktm for touring. So here's the deal... With the wife, the plan is to ride and overnight in a catered spot. But sometimes I'd like to rough it and just chuck on a backpack sleeping bag and one man tent and just get away for a night. Is this the norm with you guys !? Prob obviously being that I have mates, but not many with ds bikes. Are there some okes that live in the cape town / western cape area that plan short trips like this? Bit o tar bit o gravel.. Braai and camp?
If not, then let me be the guy to initiate it ! I'm keen.. Obviously mostly on weekends. Even if For one night.
I'm in the process of purchasing the goodies needed ( tent panniers etc... ) and some guidance from the experts would be welcome!
