S.A.I. tour....

I've been reading a few books recently which tell the author's military history, the mose recent being 'Border Insanity', this got me to thinking.....I'm planning on doing a tour to photograph ALL the S.A.I. camps as they are today, (South African Infantry for those too young to know).
Most of us that were subject to conscription either spent our two years in a S.A.I. camp or started out there before being moved to a more specialised unit.
There are/were 8 camps:
1 SAI - Bloemfontein
2 SAI - Walvis Bay (That's going to be a biggie)
3 SAI- Potchefstroom
4 SAI - Middelburg
5 SAI - Ladysmith
6 SAI - Grahamstown
7 SAI - Phalaborwa (Was Bourkes Luck when I went in, my call-up camp)
8 SAI - Upington

It would be interesting to see the state of these once very proud camps, and I think would make quite a lekker trip.
