We (3 of us) are planning a trip as mentioned in the Subject line . I have already seached this forum and found a lot of information but would like to get as much as possible .
Here what we planning :
SA to Komatipoort border onwards to Xinivane using the back road as mentioned by Dirty Des . Stay over at Xinivane at the sugar estate (we got office there)
Xinivane to Inhambane and then Vilankulo for two day stay over
Vilankulo to Mafambisse where again we stay on estate for night
Mafambisse to Nchalo (Malawi) via Chire .
Two day stay at Nchalo then of to Tete .
From Tete we want to cross the border into Zim but would like to go through Zim asap unless anybody can give us a reason to do otherwise i.e things to do , places to see . Need a lot of info on this bit between the border and Bulawayo .
Bulawayo to Francistown and depending on time left either cross the border or onwards to Gaborone .
Please share your secret's , do's and don't bla bla bla .
Fuel availability
What spares to take
Besides the obvious like one underpant and a tent what else ?
Anything in one of the countries that we need to do , not do ?
What else ?
Almost forgot . I will be doing this on my KLE . The other two clowns will be getting either KLE or KLR by the look of things . Both of them are MX riders so I can only assume they know how to handle a bike .
