Sand Practise; wild dog girls take on the guys; red route stuff?

Today {sunday} a few of the wilddog girls came out to catch up on a little sand practise, wilddog guys were brought along to check tyre pressure,pick up bikes, and generally keep a watch full eye on things.
The seven of us met at chimes, just off snake road.
after a few hours of messing around in the "bowl" we decided to go for a little ride,as i hadnt been there for some time and had never escorted a newbie type ride there,  the ride became a little technical [rough], one small section had very thick sand and a few little"steps" .
But this was near the end of the ride and by this time Misty had perfected her tuck and roll technique to such an extent that her jacket hardly gathered dust?
the wilddog girls are really coming in to their  own now,both Dakota and li soon had the sand monster tamed and were rolling the throttle as soon as the front wheel started looking for parking,it wont be long before they have forgotten why they were worried about sand in the first place.
sillyb didnt buy any soil samples this time around and misty managed to clear the toughest section only to drop the bike as i said "well done"

When I hear sand, mud, water crossing, etc my little heart starts beating faster (not for the love of them but for the fear – of the unknown mostly)  – but as we get to face them all slowly but surely and conquer our fears it becomes easier and easier to face and I just have to say that I really enjoyed the sand very much and I’m not afraid of it anymore (so there take that you Sand Sucker!)  :biggrin:

And a big thanks to Sillystunt being so patient with us and showing us the ropes first in the bowl and then taking us out on a “little” track (but ok that was Jules leading the way, so need I say more – hehe) – but it was actually the best part of the day to actually take on the sand face to face and yes even though I perfected the tuck and roll technique by the end of the day it was the most fun I’ve had in a long time and I was also still grinning when I woke up this morning and felt a few muscles protest (but hey at least I can think of taking up work as a stunt woman) 

Thanks to all the rest that came along for the ride – it was a great day – and of course we had to end if of with a nice cold one… some pics to follow but they mainly groupie shots and not as stunning as Sillystunt’s

And eSKaPe - no need for a plastic for you cause you make that 1200 look like a 250!!  :thumleft: - I aspire to almost ride like that one day
