On Saturday 3 of us took a ride up from Durban to the Lookout point which is a few KM past the "The highest Pub in Africa"

Tracks 4 Africa show it but Garmin don't. Well not on my old 2010 copy.

I won't bore everyone with yet more pictures of the pass suffice to say it is still quite bad. They have fixed it up a bit on top but could do with a bit more fixing. We passed some oke in a Fiat Panda 4x4 not sure if he made it all the way up.

Hey Dutchman81 a couple of us Durban okes will be in your neck of the wood over Easter.
Staying at Thomas River and riding Katberg, Devils Bellow and then going home via Barkley Pass, Bester Voetslaan etc.
 
Nice DE Chew ,Thats the place where they shot the movie Gods must be crazy.where the bushman threw the coke bottle off the edge of the world.May I all so say my brothers helmet is all so down there,The wind blew it off his mirror,and down it went.
 
I didn't know that about the coke bottle.
I must try get that movie and have a look.
So your brother rode back down Sani without a helmet, scarry stuff that.
