Two things you should never ever do SANI with is crash bars and hand protectors. Thank you Peter and thank you  Kurt!
I think you mean "WITHOUT"  ;D  and whilst you shopping add a bashplate asap.
SGB you so right about those rims...1.8 bar in the front and be careful...lower than that and welcome to the smiley club  :eek7:

Thanks Mdabike. I corrected it.

I did it with 1.8 tyre pressure but I think I need training wheels too...

Well done Wasp. I am planning on going there in two weeks time. How long did it take you from Johannesburg to Himeville, and how long would it take to go straight to Sani?

There is 2 ways the scenic route with gravel or the highway, you choose

Well done Wasp  :thumleft:

We all learn somewhere. Sani is a serious playground to learn on  >:D
Sani is such a cool road to do, worth just going to go up and down and come home again

Thanks for sharing

Brilliant pics Wasp, makes me wanna NOW go instead of sitting in this dreary office!

Pictures evoke some fond memories - need to do it again :ricky:

See a grader in one of the pics - this will improve the road but will create a lot of loose stones/boulders which can catch you out very easily - so be aware
